On 16th March PADI completed the first orientation program for Instructor Trainers in the PADI TecRec system. PADI staff and newly qualified PADI TecRec Its comment on the program

Thomas Knedlik:

Cert. IV in Assessment and Workplace Training. a Cert IV in Business (Frontline Management) and a Dip Management

It certainly was an amazing experience to have the elite of technical diving instructors and trainers in one room. And for me personally it was a enormous honour to be part of this group and to be able to share thoughts with the best of the best. The current PADI TecRec courses have definitely benefited from PADI’s enormous experience in designing valuable educational programs. Comprehensive training materials, educational and marketing support from PADI staff and a valid instructional system will make sure the PADI TecRec courses will be the best in the industry. With the completion of the PADI TecRec Instructor Trainer crossover in Sydney we now have the leading instructor trainers in Asia Pacific supporting the efforts of promoting PADI in the field of technical diving. I am looking forward to working closely with our new PADI TecRec Instructor Trainers in the future.

Ben Reymenants:

CHT, DMT, CCR/CAVE/TRIMIX – IT

I was quite pleased to see a large body as PADI go through such significant structural changes. With the introduction of the new technical curriculum, backed by the incentive to approach a variety of industry individuals, securing a continuous flow of technical know-how and educational diversification, I’m looking forward to being a part of this new venture and hope my 20 years of technical diving experience might add some insights on how-to bring technical diving to the public in a safe and stimulating manner.
