Rebreather Factory Visit

Delrin Slug to Sentinel Connector:  VR Technology engineer Simon Allen shows a before-after in the manufacturering of Sentinel CCR components. The components start as plastic “slugs” that go through computerized machining into their final form. This approach allows VR to revise component specifications without having to create new molds. VR Technology hosted PADI Technical Development Executive Karl Shreeves for a tour and photography for the in-development PADI Rebreather Diver and TecRec CCR courses on 1 March.

  1. If you ever get a chance to see Kevin’s (VRT) factory, I would jump at the opportunity.
    This is an amazing facility and you will see the future of diving being made in front of your very eyes.
    I have to say i was privileged when I was allowed to see round the factory and thank you to all at VR.
