Bouncing Bombs Found

A team of divers from the Archaeological Divers Association has found some of the famous ‘bouncing bombs’ developed by Sir Barnes Wallis that were used by the Royal Air Force during the second world war.

Highball Bouncing Bomb

Dives were made in a Scottish loch ranging from 30msw to 60msw using mixed gas to search for the Highball Bouncing Bombs. The team also used a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV).
