  1. Will we be able to start teaching these new courses straight away?
I already have several inquiries and customers waiting to hear…so this is good news!

Mainly on the first level Tec40 and I have divers asking me for Normoxic Trimix courses so I would assume that Tec65 will fit the bill here.

Also it will be nice to see some new promo material and see if we can compete on a more level playing field with the other Tec agencies!

    Hi,

I recently completed my training as a TecDeep Instructor in Lanzarote, Spain. I am from Ecuador and I would like to start teaching TecRec in my area, but there are no technical diving facilities, nor technical divers for now. I’m investing in Tec gear, gases, booster, etc.

I would like to know if there will be a more intensive marketing support for bringing people to the “early” levels of the new TecRec range.

    Thank you,

  3. Hi Jorge,
I think there will be enough of a demand from tec divers wishing to travel to Galapagos to dive once they know that the facilities are there. I, myself had had an uphill struggle since 2003 trying to promote tec diving in Jordan.
I wish you good luck…some one has to pioneer..you can use that as a marketing opportunity in itself! First center to offer xyz etc..
I think that PADI and DSAT will have a little better marketing now they are revamping all the tec courses…here in the Red Sea I loose many tec customers to TDI…of course its not long before they switch to rebreathers after they realise the savings made on Helium!! Thats another story…Im not sure what DSAT will do in this direction..personally I think they should be left on the tec side of things..(except for the Dolphin SCRs)

If you get oxygen and helium boosters and some small tanks I and many of my CCR friends would love to come and play with our units in the Galapagos!! Watch out there as I have problems here with the authorities on the use of rebreathers…hopefully what ever PADI/DSAT does in this direction will dispel the myth that they are military tools only!

    keep on it
    cheers
